COMPREHENSIVE FINANCIAL PLANNING
J. H. White Financial Services primary focus is comprehensive financial planning and investing to create long-term wealth and goal achievement. We begin all new client relationships with a comprehensive financial plan. This enables JHWFS to acquire invaluable personal information that in turn allows us to build a Financial Plan and recommend investments that meet your needs, goals, and resources. Depending on your situation, the plan will include some or all of the following:

CASH FLOW ANALYSIS
• Establishes an understanding of cash flows used to create good saving habits.

• Analyze the effect of debt on future cash flows.
• Develop realistic expectation of cash flows during various periods in the clients life, particularly retirement through scenario building.

TAX PLANNING
• Contrary to common belief, taxes are an issue over which you have some control.

• Tax preparation. Vs. Tax planning: Tax preparation, the filing of tax returns, is compiling info from what has already occurred. Conversely, tax planning, involves utilizing legitimate opportunities for future tax reduction.

• Structuring investments using the most tax-efficient mutual funds.

• Tax planning will reduce your liability significantly over the long run.

EDUCATION PLANNING
• Education costs continue to increase more rapidly than the rate of inflation.

• Coordinate your savings for your children's education alongside your other goals.

• Help you to decide which investment vehicle, including Section 529 Education Savings Plans, Coverdell Education Savings Accounts, and State Tuition Assistance Programs, meet your needs.

RETIREMENT PLANNING
• Develop a plan to maintain your desired standard of living during retirement, whether your currently retired or don't plan to retire for 30 years.

• Show you the likely outcome of different scenarios so that you can choose the option that makes the most sense for you.

• Work with you to continually update your retirement plan to reflect the changes in your financial life.

INSURANCE ANALYSIS

• As a fee-only financial advisor, we do not sell any type of insurance, which allows us to provide objective advice.

• In addition to a will, Estate Planning involves creating a health care directive (or living will) and durable power of attorney for each spouse.

INVESTMENT EVALUATION
• J. H. White Financial Services explains why it is important to build diversified portfolios using passively managed funds as building blocks.

• Review your current investment portfolio to make sure that it provides you with the best probability of achieving your short and long-term financial goals. Asset allocation is included in this review.

• Help you to establish a written Investment Policy Statement based on your investment objectives, time horizon, and risk tolerance. This clearly states how your investments should be allocated.

• Make specific recommendations about what changes you need to make to your portfolio.

We provide you with a written financial plan, the supporting analyses for each section of your plan, a task list that you should begin working on, and a recommended investment allocation based upon your specific situation and risk tolerance.

For clients who choose to continue our services beyond the initial financial plan, we provide on-going financial advice through implementation assistance and annual reviews.
